Coursera Narrows Gender Gap In GenAI Enrollments

Coursera releases a One Year Later report comparing 2024–2025 GenAI learning, showing women's global GenAI enrollments rose from 32% to 36% and enterprise enrollments from 36% to 42% in 2025. The report highlights strong regional gains—Peru +14.5pp, Uzbekistan +8.8pp—and finds women are 1.5× more likely to complete GenAI courses once enrolled. It recommends beginner-focused courses, inclusive pedagogy, and pairing GenAI with critical thinking skills.
