KARACHI: Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong, speaking at the 2026 Chinese New Year Media Reception on Thursday, reaffirmed China-Pakistan "ironclad" friendship and lauded Pakistani media for promoting bilateral ties and covering CPEC 2.0. He cited China's roughly 5% 2025 GDP growth and 140 trillion yuan GDP, outlined 15th Five-Year Plan priorities including AI governance and green transition, and urged continued media engagement.
