Cisco Introduces Silicon One G300 Switch

Cisco is introducing Silicon One G300, a high-performance switching silicon delivering 102.4 Tbps, 1.6T Ethernet port support, a 252MB shared packet buffer, and up to 512-port scaling, with an SDK available and first systems targeted for 2H2026. Cisco reports simulations showing 33% higher throughput and 28% faster job completion times, positioning the chip to lower TCO for large GPU clusters.
