China Accelerates Private Economy High-Quality Development Through Innovation

At the 2026 national "two sessions" marking the start of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, researcher Adham Sayed and CPPCC member Xu Mingjin discussed strategies to make technological innovation the new engine for high-quality private economic growth. Xu urged private enterprises to increase R&D, join major national science projects, and pursue digital, intelligent, and green transformations in AI, bio-manufacturing, and aerospace to boost productivity and sustainability.
