BNY Mellon Builds Centralized GenAI Platform
Since ChatGPT’s 2022 breakthrough, BNY Mellon has accelerated deployment of generative AI and is building a centralized GenAI platform, the bank says. Chief data and AI officer Sarthak Pattanaik says the platform lets the bank concentrate on risk management, governance and talent during AI product builds, aiming to standardize controls and operationalize models across business units.
