BMW Reveals Camouflaged Long-Wheelbase iX3 For Asia Markets

BMW is preparing a long-wheelbase iX3 for China and other Asian markets, showing a camouflaged prototype ahead of its April 2026 Beijing Auto Show debut. The model adds 4.25 inches (10.8 cm) to the wheelbase, increases rear legroom, began trial production in Shenyang in December, and will begin deliveries in the second half of 2026. It uses the 800‑volt Neue Klasse platform and features a 70% locally developed OS with Alibaba and DeepSeek LLM integration for voice assistance.
