Basis Secures $100M Series B Funding

Accounting-focused AI startup Basis raised $100 million in a Series B announced Feb. 24, led by Accel and Google Ventures and valuing the company at $1.15 billion. Basis says its autonomous AI agents can complete complex tasks, including end-to-end partnership tax workbooks, and argues the rise of generative AI agents increases demand for higher-quality, scalable accounting services.
