Bank Of Canada Warns AI Cuts Entry-Level Jobs

Bank of Canada governor Tiff Macklem said Thursday that AI may be reducing entry-level jobs for young Canadians, during a speech titled 'Structural change — Canada at a crossroads.' He also warned of shifting U.S. trade relations and slowing population growth, and forecast roughly 1.25% GDP growth over the next two years with minimal labour-force growth and cautious business hiring.
