Aronofsky Creates AI-Recreated American Revolution Series

Filmmaker Darren Aronofsky's Primordial Soup launched 'On This Day... 1776,' an animated series that re-creates moments from America's founding year using traditional filmmaking and AI tools, including technology from Google's DeepMind; the studio licensed the series to Time Studios, which will distribute episodes weekly on Time's YouTube channel throughout 2026. The first two episodes premiered Thursday and feature SAG-AFTRA voice actors and Salesforce sponsorship.
