Anthropic Models Gain Global Cross-Region Inference Availability

Amazon Web Services announces that Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.5, Claude Sonnet 4.5, and Claude Haiku 4.5 are now available through Amazon Bedrock with global cross-Region inference for customers in the Middle East, including UAE (me-central-1) and Bahrain (me-south-1). The feature routes requests across commercial destination Regions with end-to-end encryption while keeping customer data and logs stored in the source Region, enabling higher throughput and resilience for generative AI workloads.
