Anthropic CEO Warns Nvidia Chip Exports Empower China

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei warned on Tuesday at Davos that the Trump administration's decision to allow Nvidia to sell advanced AI chips to China could accelerate China's development of AGI and pose national security risks. The administration approved controlled exports of Nvidia's second-most powerful chips with third-party testing and a rule capping China at 50% of U.S. customer sales.
