Andhra Pradesh Governor Urges Students To Pursue Emerging Technologies

Andhra Pradesh Governor Syed Abdul Nazeer, as chief guest at the 22nd convocation of Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam in Tirupati on March 7, 2026, presented degrees to 2,591 female students, including 121 PhDs, 99 gold medals and two silver medals. He conferred an honorary doctorate on former DRDO scientist Sasikala Sinha and urged graduates to study AI, quantum technology, robotics, nanotech, IoT and renewable energy, highlighting the state's Quantum Valley plan.
