AI Agents Transform Business Process Management

This article argues that AI agents and business process management (BPM) are deeply intertwined and that BPM tools can accelerate AI agent adoption. It explains how agents add real-time data, autonomy, and exception handling to traditional workflows, and recommends ERP leaders use BPM, process mining, and tools like SAP Signavio to map processes, optimize edge cases, and integrate adaptive, end-to-end workflows.
