Abu Dhabi Begins Autonomous Mobility Trials Across Sectors

Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has launched Tesla's supervised Full Self-Driving road trials and is overseeing the MENA region's first autonomous truck pilot in Khalifa Economic Zones (KEZAD), WAM and ITC reported. The initiatives operate within structured regulatory frameworks coordinated with the UAE Cabinet's Legislation Lab to evaluate safety and operational readiness before wider adoption.
