World Economic Forum Launches Global Reskilling Initiative

On January 23, 2026, the World Economic Forum announced a global Reskilling Revolution initiative to reach more than 850 million people and added new national accelerators in India and Jordan. The program now spans 45 national accelerators supporting 14.8 million people, 79 economies and 18 industries, and includes corporate pledges to train 120 million workers in AI and digital skills.
