Windows 11 Adds Admin Restriction To Storage

Microsoft shipped Windows 11 KB5074105 (Build 26200.7705) on January 29 as an optional update and confirmed it intentionally requires administrator approval to open Storage settings, now triggering a UAC prompt. The update also adds a Device Card on Settings home, enables Cross Device Resume for supported Android phones, and exposes a Smart App Control toggle. Microsoft says the change prevents unauthorized access to system storage.
