Waymo Secures $16 Billion Funding Round

Waymo is reportedly close to finalizing a $16 billion funding round that would value the Google-owned self-driving startup at $110 billion, the Financial Times reported Jan. 31. Google is said to provide over 75% of the capital; Waymo's annual recurring revenue has surpassed $350 million and the round was three-times oversubscribed. The money would accelerate robotaxi expansion and operations.
