Voyager Plans Space Data Centers Despite Cooling

Voyager Technologies CEO Dylan Taylor said cooling challenges make a two-year timetable for space data centers aggressive, with heat dissipation in space relying on radiation and dedicated radiators. The company, which went public in June, is on track for a 2029 Starlab launch with partners Palantir, Airbus and Mitsubishi and already operates a cloud compute device on the ISS. The comments underscore technical hurdles for orbital compute deployments.
