Uttar Pradesh Secures Rs 9,750 Crore MoUs

Uttar Pradesh's delegation, led by Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, secured Rs 9,750 crore in MoUs at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos on January 21, 2026, with SAEL Industries, Sify Technologies, and Yeoman. The agreements target waste-to-energy, an AI-ready data centre and AI City, and defence manufacturing, signalling sizable investments across clean energy, digital infrastructure, and defence. These deals aim to accelerate infrastructure development and job creation in the state.
