Universitas Islam Uses Generative AI For IPv6 Migration

Universitas Islam researchers presented at APRICOT 2026 in Jakarta that their Net AI Copilot tool dramatically reduces cognitive load and errors during IPv4-to-IPv6 migrations. In tests with seven experienced engineers, AI reduced cognitive load by 65–72%, cut task times from minutes or hours to seconds, and raised completion rates to 100%. Researchers caution organizations remain unprepared due to cost and readiness concerns.
