Uber Expands Delivery Into Seven European Markets

Uber is expanding its delivery business into seven European markets — Austria, Denmark, Norway, the Czech Republic, Greece, Romania and Finland — later this year, Uber head of delivery Susan Anderson told the Financial Times on Feb. 15. The move aims to generate an additional $1 billion in gross bookings over three years, intensifying competition with Wolt/DoorDash amid wider industry consolidation.
