Treasury Releases AI Cybersecurity Guidance For Finance

The Treasury Department said on Feb. 18, 2026 it will publish six resources from the Artificial Intelligence Executive Oversight Group to bolster AI cybersecurity and risk management in the U.S. financial sector. The deliverables, released in phases through the rest of February, were developed with senior industry executives and federal and state regulators to guide governance, data practices, transparency, fraud mitigation and digital identity.
