President Murmu Urges Digital And Financial Literacy

President Droupadi Murmu on February 5, 2026 urged making digital and financial literacy part of school curricula while addressing the India Black Swan Summit 2026 in Bhubaneswar. She highlighted government anti-fraud measures — the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, the Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System, and the Cyber Fraud Mitigation Centre — noted women hold over 56% of Jan Dhan accounts, and called for inclusive fintech.
