Pakistan Leverages AI To Enhance Revenue Administration

Islamabad, Feb 10 — Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said the government is leveraging artificial intelligence to boost efficiency, transparency, and revenue administration during a panel at the National AI Workshop. He cited AI-led CRM, production monitoring, risk-based compliance tools, faceless customer processes, and the Pakistan Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (PVARA) as measures to curb leakages and formalize digital assets. He urged policy direction, institutional readiness, and skills investment.
