Motion Designer Adopts Generative AI Workflows

Matt Silverman of iBelieveInSwordfish says he has integrated generative AI into concepting and production workflows since summer 2022, starting with Midjourney and expanding to Runway Gen3 and ChatGPT on client projects from November 2022 through 2025. He used AI for ideation, mosaic-inspired imagery, procedural 3D translation, GenAI video backgrounds, and a nested super-zoom technique, delivering conference openers and large-scale installations.
