Kubernetes Introduces Five GA Enhancements for Clusters

Kubernetes released version 1.35 in mid-December 2025, making five major features generally available. The release includes in-place pod resource updates, fine-grained supplemental group control, PreferSameNode traffic distribution, structured authentication configuration, and OCI image volumes, which improve runtime flexibility, security, networking locality, and operability across clusters.
