IT Professionals Report Container Security Gaps

BellSoft published a survey of 427 IT professionals today finding 23% experienced a container cybersecurity incident in the past year, with 5% reporting a major organizational impact. The survey finds human error causes 62% of vulnerabilities and low adoption of defenses—43% use vulnerability scanning, 18% use SBOMs, and 16% use image signing—suggesting limited visibility and patching challenges.
