Intel Revives Ohio One Advanced Fab Project

Intel's Ohio One fab project shows renewed momentum after contractor Bechtel posted multiple job listings for managers, welders and electricians on January 18, 2026. The New Albany campus will initially house two fabs (Mod 1 and Mod 2) now targeted for production by 2030–2031; recent CHIPS Act funding of $8.9 billion and a $5 billion Nvidia partnership underpin efforts to revive Intel's foundry ambitions.
