At day one of the AI & Big Data Expo and Intelligent Automation Conference, industry speakers including Amal Makwana (Citi), Meni Meller (Gigaspaces) and others highlighted the shift from passive RPA to agentic AI that reasons, plans, and executes across workflows, stressing governance and data quality. Panels from SAP, Datadog, Oxford Robotics and Equifax emphasized retrieval-augmented generation, cloud-native analytics, safety, observability, network infrastructure and cultural adoption as deployment prerequisites.
