India Prioritizes Scalable AI Models For Impact

New Delhi, Feb 16 — India’s Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Jitin Prasada, said India has the highest AI skill penetration and is pursuing a policy of avoiding over-regulation to let innovation thrive. He said the government is ensuring affordable GPU access and focusing on scalable, sector- and region-specific models to democratize AI and support startups.
