India Joins Pax Silica Supply-Chain Coalition

India on Friday formally joined the US-led Pax Silica initiative, signing the Pax Silica Declaration on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 to deepen cooperation on AI, semiconductors and critical supply chains. The declaration names a 'full-stack' coalition of partners including Australia, Japan, and the UK, aiming to reduce concentrated supply-chain dependencies and coordinate technology, trade and defense ties.
