India Drives National AI Strategy Implementation

BCG and JICA released a Playbook for National AI Strategy arguing India leads Global South AI but must move beyond pilots to scaled, trusted deployments. The report, based on work in five countries, cites Aadhaar, UPI and over 38,000 GPUs at under Rs 60/hour, and recommends coordinated ecosystems and government-led fund-of-funds to address financing and skills gaps.
