Humana Launches Agent Assist AI Support Tool

Humana launched Agent Assist, an AI-driven support tool built with Google Cloud, the company said in a Feb. 3 press release. The system uses Vertex AI and Gemini to support more than 20,000 member advocates, generating real-time call summaries, surfacing relevant information, and guiding compliance for millions of annual inquiries. Advocates began piloting the tool in October, with full rollout expected this year under human-in-the-loop oversight.
