Government Strengthens Fraud Detection In Ayushman Bharat

India’s National Health Authority (annual report 2024–25) says tightened fraud detection under Ayushman Bharat flagged Rs 272 crore in suspicious claims and rejected Rs 133.6 crore before payment. From Sept 2023–Mar 2025 authorities deployed 61 trigger-based techniques, including 14 AI/ML tools, shared 4.63 lakh suspicious claims, and recorded 9.19 crore admissions by March 31, 2025.
