Government Converts National Job Portal To AI-Driven Recruitment

The government is moving to convert the National Job Portal into an AI-driven recruitment platform after the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication directed the National Information Technology Board (NITB) to implement the changes. NITB has begun work to use AI to match candidates, streamline shortlisting and generate labor-market intelligence from 2.1 million CVs, 205 registered agencies and 33,800 postings. The plan emphasizes data protection, transparency and human oversight.
