Gothic 1 Remake Launches June 5, 2026

THQ Nordic announced on February 12 that the Gothic 1 Remake will launch on June 5, 2026, for PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no Switch 2 version planned. The trailer highlights revamped combat, improved animations, cinematic cutscenes and expanded movement, while developer Alkimia Interactive aims to preserve the original's atmosphere; pre-orders start at about $60.
