Google Emphasizes Stack Advantage For AI

On Feb. 14, 2026 at the Cisco AI Summit in San Francisco, Google Chief Technologist for AI Infrastructure Amin Vahdat said Google’s main advantage is co-designing chips, models and infrastructure across the stack. He cited TPUs co-designed with DeepMind, the Gemini 3 model’s strong benchmark performance, and Project Suncatcher (announced November 2025) promising 24/7 solar power and a 50% latency reduction.
