Google DeepMind Releases Project Genie Prototype

Google DeepMind this week began rolling out Project Genie, an experimental interface for its Genie 3 world model, to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US. The prototype generates 3D, explorable worlds from text or images with 60-second sessions at roughly 720p/24fps, but reviewers report input lag, inconsistent rendering, and IP/content-generation blocks. The release aims to solicit user feedback and new use cases.
