GITEX Launches Flagship Event In Almaty

GITEX organiser inD and Almaty city officials announced GITEX AI Central Asia & Caucasus Kazakhstan, scheduled for May 4–5, 2026, to be held at the Atakent Business Cooperation Center. The launch, discussed in a Feb. 18 meeting with Almaty Akim Darkhan Satybaldy, aims to showcase local IT capacity, attract investment, and spotlight AI, GovTech and cybersecurity opportunities across Central Asia.
