Florida Theme Parks Suspend Operations Over Cold

Some Disney World and Universal Orlando parks temporarily close this week as an unusually cold snap drives Central Florida temperatures into the 20s and 30s, with afternoon highs in the upper 50s to low 60s, FOX 35 Orlando reported. Typhoon Lagoon and Universal's Volcano Bay closed Jan. 28–29 with staggered reopenings planned; FOX Weather warns the cold could deepen into the weekend, possibly bringing Miami its lowest temperatures in 16 years on Sunday.
