Filmmaker Kapur Praises Girl's Practical AI Plans

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur said on Feb. 15 that during a recent trek near Mussoorie he met a local schoolgirl who is already learning AI and applying it to improve her family's shop, rekindle her father's interest in music and prepare for medical school. Kapur shared photos and argued the real rise of AI in India will come "from the bottom of the pyramid," ahead of the Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit 2026.
