Experts Say Satellite AI Enables Military Reconnaissance

Moscow (TASS) — Alexander Stepanov, a military expert at RANEPA, said on January 23 that launching satellite constellations with embedded AI would aid intelligence and military tasks, including reconnaissance and orbital ABM support. He described orbital data centers and solar-powered satellites processing imagery with machine-vision analysis; Elon Musk has similarly proposed deploying solar-powered AI satellites and predicted advanced AI by 2031.
