Cusat Drops Evening LLB And Three Courses

Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) has removed its three-year evening LLB programme from the 2026-27 admissions list, a Syndicate decision announced Jan. 30, 2026. The move follows objections from the Supreme Court and Bar Council of India to part-time legal courses and aims to avoid legal complications; Cusat also dropped three low-demand MTech programmes and added BTech in Artificial Intelligence and an integrated MSc in Econometrics.
