Consulting Firms Integrate AI Agents At Scale

Consulting firms including McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, and Deloitte are embedding AI into daily work, using agents, custom GPTs, and automation. McKinsey CEO Bob Sternfels says the firm runs 25,000 AI agents alongside 40,000 employees and aims for a one-to-one ratio within about 18 months; BCG is building thousands of bespoke GPTs for internal and client workflows. This shift is changing task execution and deliverables.
