Cogent Security Raises $42M To Scale Remediation

Cogent Security Inc. said today it raised $42 million in a Series A round led by Bain Capital to accelerate development and expand deployments of autonomous AI agents for enterprise vulnerability remediation. Founded in 2025 and formally launched in July 2025, the platform automates post-detection workflows, integrates with vulnerability and ticketing systems, and enforces governance and audit trails. The funding brings total capital to $53 million and aims to scale enterprise rollouts.
