Chinese companies dominated the smart-glasses presence at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, with at least 27 of roughly 60 exhibitors and IDC reporting a 62.3% increase in Chinese shipment volume. Firms including Rokid, Xreal, XGIMI and LLVision showed AI-enabled, lightweight AR and audio eyewear running LLMs and MicroLED displays. The trend suggests China is accelerating consumer smart-glasses innovation and phone-independent wearable development.
