China Showcases Humanoid Robots Driving Manufacturing Push

China's CCTV Spring Festival gala on Monday showcased humanoid robots from Unitree, Galbot, Noetix and MagicLab, highlighting Beijing's industrial policy and manufacturing ambitions. Demonstrations included martial arts sequences, synchronized dances and Bytedance's Doubao chatbot, while companies such as Unitree prepare IPOs and analysts project Chinese humanoid shipments to rise to about 28,000 units this year.
