A Censuswide survey of 4,295 CFOs, CISOs, CIOs and CEOs worldwide, commissioned by Rimini Street, found 70% of C-suite leaders do not view traditional ERP as the future, with 36% favoring composable, API-driven architectures and 33% backing AI-driven 'agentic' ERP. While 97% reported current ERPs meet business needs, executives cite vendor lock-in and forced upgrades, prompting divergent upgrade strategies like third-party support.
