Applied Digital Breaks Ground on 430 MW Data Center

Applied Digital announced on Thursday that it has broken ground on a 430 MW data center campus in the southern US, withholding the exact location until February to shield the host community from national attention. Named Delta Forge 1, the campus will initially include two 150 MW buildings across more than 500 acres, aims to employ over 200 people, and targets mid-2027 operational readiness while courting an unnamed hyperscaler.
