Apple Selects Google Gemini To Power Siri

Apple announced on its Jan. 31, 2026 earnings call that it has signed a multi-year deal with Google to use Gemini models to power a revamped Siri and future Apple Intelligence features. CEO Tim Cook said Google’s technology provided the most capable foundation while preserving on-device and Private Cloud Compute privacy standards; the Siri refresh is expected with iOS 26.4 around March or April.
